Terms of Service
Effective 17 August 2026
These terms govern your access to and use of the Dovre website and platform provided by Dovre ("Dovre", "we", "us"). By accessing or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you are using Dovre on behalf of an organisation, you are agreeing on its behalf.
The service
Dovre ingests text you supply, runs a topic model over it, and returns topics, keywords, hierarchy, volume-over-time, and model-generated insights. We may change or improve the service over time.
Accounts and access
Access is currently provisioned by us. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
Pilots and trials
Access may be provided on a pilot or trial basis. Unless we have agreed fees with you separately and in writing, the service is provided without charge during a pilot, and we may activate, suspend, or end pilot access at our discretion.
Your content
You retain all rights in the text and data you submit. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, and display that content solely to provide the service to you. You represent that you have the rights and any necessary consents to submit the content and to have it processed as described in our Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service in violation of any law or the rights of others;
- submit content you do not have the right to submit, or that infringes intellectual-property or privacy rights;
- submit special-category or highly sensitive personal data unless we have agreed to it in writing;
- attempt to breach, probe, or circumvent the security of the service;
- reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the service or its outputs.
Intellectual property
We own the Dovre platform, software, and underlying technology. You own your content and the topic results derived from your content. Feedback you choose to give us may be used to improve the service without obligation to you.
Third-party services
The service relies on third-party providers, including cloud hosting and a large-language-model provider. We are not responsible for the availability or acts of those providers beyond our reasonable control.
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. Topic names, summaries, and insights are generated by statistical and language models and may be incomplete or wrong; they are not professional advice, and you are responsible for how you use them.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
Term and termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or if we discontinue the service. On termination, the licence you granted us to process your content ends, and we will delete or return your content in line with our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above, and continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore in which Dovre is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
